Hello! My name is Tim Holbrook and I reside in White Hall, Maryland. I am an Auto Liability Determination Claim Manager for Allstate Insurance Company where I have worked for 12 years. My education background includes a BA degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County in Applied Mathematics/Statistics with a minor in Economics. My first three years of study involved Mechanical Engineering before switching majors. I received my CPCU designation in 2006 and have been pursuing my MSIM since the fall of 2007. This is my fourth course in the curriculum and I have enjoyed the challenging work, study and learning thus far in the online program.
I currently maintain my church website www.FellowshipChapel.info, if anyone wants to visit. I really look forward to getting more information on website management, blogging, and e-commerce in general. Talk to you soon! Big Tim

Great blogsite Tim. It seem you have extensive practical knowledge about website development which should come in handy to you in this class. I will be looking foward to ask you some questions, as the class progresses.
Secondly, I think you have more colors on your website. Great blogsite kudos

Hi Tim
I exactly know how it feel when driving at the speed of 175MPH, only once in my life, I drove from South California to North California on I-5, I literally drive my car almost 5 miles with the speed of 175MPH and I do not think I ever going to do it again. I like the pictures at your web site.
Thanks

Tim,
I love the pictures of your family, I need to add some myself. Your website is very welcoming! The only thing i would change would be to only use around 3 font types excluding the header and description. Have one for the titles and one for the body. I hate to be critical, but that's what we are begin asked to do.

Hi Tim,
Finally, I meet my first "fellow CPCU" in the program (I work for a reinsurance company). I started in Summer II and this is my third course, you can check the rest of my background out on my site but you will have to go through the Discussion board (oh, all right it's http://citydazenyc.blogspot.com/ citydazenyc).
Anyhow, I understand this is where we are supposed to make suggestions on other's blog spots. Please feel free to ignore anything critical I say!
The sound/music upon opening is pretty cool (I haven't quite figured that out yet) but I have to suggest you discover a way for it to "terminate" after a short period (maybe 60 seconds) as it tended to become irritating after a while (could be just me - it seemed to distract me while I was trying to read).
Also, you made your site pretty personal which clearly reflects your personality. I went a little more "formal" but think its just a matter of style for each of us. So, kudos, I feel like the site really lets people know who your are and your interests.
The pictures are great, too. Seems like all of mine are on vacation and include both my wife and me so I was "advised" not to include the family.
Finally, I think with time as we all learn how to play with "blogger" you might consider enhancing the "header" with some more personalized color. The blue looks sort of "standard" although I have to admit the green does add quite a personal touch.
All in all I think you have a pretty neat site and look forward to seeing how you (and me) progress as bloggers. I agree with your comments about the challenges in the BU program - I'm finding the time commitment much greater than "advertised" and it seems like its getting harder to keep up with every class!
Good luck with the site,
David
You have changed the site around from when I first looked, it looks much better now! Great stuff.
Tim,
I like your blog. I have found that we are all sharing more about ourselves as far as information, pictures, and style preferences in our blogs than vista allows us to share in the discussion sections. It has been great getting to "know" everyone a little better.
I like the music and the photos in your blog. I think the fastest I've ever driven was about 95 mph, you have me beat!
I look forward to your input throughout the class, as I have never designed a web site before.
Maria
