Post H1N1 update...

Well, it's good to be back in school at BU and over the nasty flu that struck our house. Little Logan (19 months) flew thru the flu without a thing; Lisa and I coughed our way over the hump and Timmy Jr. (6 1/2) held a fever for a few days but never developed into full blown disaster! Overall, the Lord is good and He has graced us with a quick recovery. That being said, I'm back in school for my 7th of 8 courses for my Masters degree in Insurance Management at Boston University. I am shooting for a spring completion and this course will be the biggest final hurdle. I will be calling in all favors on this one as I am not as strong in Corporate Finance as many of my friends (yes, Nelson, that means you!). I count it all joy and blessing to have this opportunity and really hope to learn a lot. I'll keep everyone posted as I progress and hope to post some new photos soon.

Have a great week and I'll be back here soon....if Facebook doesn't get me first!

It's that time again!!!

Well, Summer is here and I'm back for class number six in the Master of Insurance Management curriculum at Boston University. I'm on the downward slide to the finish with this course and then two in the spring. I am hoping to get my Associate in Personal Insurance this fall while from the AICPCU if the Lord sees fit. With a sick one year old and a six year old trying to be a teenager, life can't seem to figure itself out! Oh well, life is good all the time any way you slice it!

I'm now on Face Book and it's been great catching up with all my friends across the globe. I am sufficiently hooked on Mafia Wars! It's a hoot!

Catch everyone later!

Spring is coming!

The weather is getting better and I'm working outside with Timmy Jr. Little Bro' Lo' is trying his best to walk and is chasing Timmy around the house like a banshee! The dogs, Princess Tess and Princess Sophie (our Bishon girls) are enjoying their new spring coats and running around the yard enjoying themselves My wife, on the other hand, is recovering from tendinitis in her shoulders from carrying around a load of bricks, (LOGAN)! Mom and dad are off to NC for my Great Aunt Ella's birthday and send their regards. Brian, Jen, Ella and Hannah are off to Disney this weekend and all of next week. His Honda is a total loss but he should be able to purchase something if his claim is settled properly and timely. I guess that's all for now but hope spring comes soon and I can spend some time Turkey hunting, at the track, and working on the Camaro!

WOW!! What a break!

Well, I got my B in Accounting, thanks to Nelson Hopkins, CPA!!! I learned a lot but squeaked by with a B. My exam at the testing center was cancelled so Pastor Ron Powell proctored my exam at the Chapel so I could get'er'done! Speaking of FC, Jesse Miller has been revamping our computer system and bringing us into the new millenium with a ton of changes. It's great to be working with my "brother from another monther" again! THANKS JESSE and NELSON...my best friends FOREVER! I'll remember the night we stumbled our way to the Van Halen concert in Philly last fall....that was AWESOME!!! Next up is the Brian Regan concert on June 13th in Lancaster....can't wait....we've seen him a couple times and he is HILARIOUS!
Just had to upload a picture of Logan and Timmy Jr...they are wonderful challenges everyday!

Class number FIVE!!

Well, I'm back for another class in spite of my last experience in E-Commerce! I'm not bitter but that was a TON of work for a B+. My wife Lisa and the boys had a wonderful Christmas break and I enjoyed the time away from the books. I'm looking forward to a new experience in the Accounting 630 and hope to have some fun doing it!
